Fleet Two (Vancouver Island) has been awarded the 2010 NAs, which will be held in conjunction with the RIPS Regatta in mid-August 2010 at Port Browning, BC.

In 2011 the event shifts back to Fleet 3 (Marina del Rey) in Los Angeles, where it will probably be held in July, and in 2012 it will return to Canada, and be hosted by either Fleet 4 (Sylvan Lake) or Fleet 1 (Vancouver).

Information on the 2010 NAs is as follows:

• The regatta dates are August 14-18, 2010, with a practice race on the 13th
• 13 races are scheduled
• Registration information and the NOR can be found at www.rips.ca
• If you register before February 1, the fee is reduced to $15 per foot from $17 (CDN$360 vs. CDN$408)
• There's lots of room for camping and motor homes at the regatta site on a first come, first served, basis
• Mothership moorage fees are $200 for the event and can be reserved through thefoleys@shaw.ca
• Various other accomodation options are available on the island and are listed on the RIPS website here, and some can be booked through the Foleys
• Paul Ulibarri, Olympic-level PRO, is running the racing once again
• The M242's will start first and have their own weather mark and spacer mark, but the leeward gate is shared with other classes
