Competitors are advised that the IMCA Committee has made some minor adjustments to the M242 Class Rules, which will go into effect January 1, 2010

The slightly revised Class Rules are available for review and commentary by competitors here.

Specifically, the changes that occurred since the last set of Rules were announced in early November are:

• 2.5 (Spinnaker Hoist Height ERS definition) has been discarded due to redundancy with the ERS, and
• 3.2.12 has been modified slightly to simplify the wording.

Secondly, the IMCA committee is in the process of creating a Measurer's Handbook, which will help facilitate the measurement process for each boat.
