Rain, sun, big breeze, big shifts, no breeze - the weather this past weekend provided a little bit of everything for the racers who came from as far away as the Royal British Yacht Club in Vancouver, Canada to Sail in the Southern California Yachting Association's 82nd annual Midwinter Regatta. Joined by three boats from the King Harbor Yacht Club, the California Yacht Club hosted a great event for the 12 entries from the Martin 242 fleet.
The first four places were taken by Cal Yacht Club members.
Peter Stazicker's "Trolleycar" came in first place with a dominating trio of firsts.
Tom O'Connor's "Blarney" was second,
Duncan Cameron's "Dean" came in third.
Mike Georges "All in" came in Fourth.
