Adjustments to M242 Class Rules

Competitors are advised that the IMCA Committee has made some adjustments to the M242 Class Rules, which will go into effect March 1, 2011.

Specifically, the changes that occurred since the last set of Rules were announced on November 16, 2009 are:

  • 3.7.4.1 (Crew weight) remains the same at 386kg or 850 pounds maximum
  • 3.7.4.2 contains modified language re when crews can be weighed
  • 3.7.4.3 has been added to place strict restrictions on crew substitutions at IMCA sanctioned events (i.e. major regattas)
